Mission Partner Engagement Framework

Renumeration

Based primarily on Forbes-Space receiving an agreed commission from the Rights-Holder on the monetary value of any partnership facilitated by Forbes-Space.

In the case of a technical partnership where there is value in kind of services or products provided at no charge or at a substantial discount to the space enterprise in return for branding or identification rights, then Forbes-Space will charge an agreed commission to the Partner based on the market value of those rights.

In both cases there are different levels of percentages applied according to the value of the contract with a reduced percentage payable as the value of the contract increases. Commission is calculated on the duration of the contract and commission is also payable on contract renewals.

Consulting

Depending on need, a potential partner may require additional consulting services from Forbes-Space to co-prepare a ‘Rights Requirement and Services Provided Outline’ document to discuss with potential rights holders, particularly in the case where there is a technical partnership being sought where the majority of the value might be in the provision of product and services to the rights holder at discounted prices or no cost. This document would also set out a persuasive case for why the Partner should be considered as a potential Technical Partner.

The investment in the preparation of a ‘Rights Requirement and Services Provided Outline’ document is estimated on an individual basis.

Scouting

Forbes-Space offers a monthly retainer structure that is based on a number of agreed hours per month for Forbes-Space to actively target and directly approach space enterprise rights holders to introduce the sponsor.

For example, 10 hours of partnership scouting activity per month is priced at USD $1,250 per month

Note: all retainer income received in the twelve months prior to a sponsorship contract being agreed where the commission revenue is greater than the retainer is fully refunded.
