Forbes-Space was pleased to have the opportunity to attend the ESA Space Solutions "Towards a Space-Powered Economy" conference at ESA's ECSAT in Harwell in the UK.
Amongst the highlights were presentations by ESA's Director General, Josef Aschbacher, and Director of Commercialisation, Geraldine Naja.
Both highlighted the significant opportunities for collaboration between the space sector and the non-space sector to drive maximum innovation and growth in the space economy, and value to both the participants and to society.
Forbes-Space affiliate partner The Artemis Partnership contributed to Day 1 with Ian Forbes delivering a well-received talk on ‘What It Takes To Win Major Pitches’. Ian and his team provide major bid, contract and investment pitch support efforts to our Forbes-Space clients.
Forbes-Space would also like to extend my gratitude to Davide Coppola and Rita Rinaldo of the ESA Space Solutions team for the invitation to attend, and for the opportunity to have many interesting conversations with senior ESA people and with a number of the attendees at the conference.
